TakeFlight, a Tutoring Company (ACRA No. 53313985K) based in Singapore was founded in August 2015 by Tutor Mr Hoo Weng Sang Vincent.

Mr Hoo, 44, a former Humanities Head of Department in a Secondary School with the Ministry of Education (MOE). He has been teaching since 2003. He specialised in tutoring English, Social Studies, Geography and History. A political science graduate from the National University of Singapore. He served as a speechwriter for government Cabinet Ministers for 12 years after leaving MOE.

He also served as the CEO for a midsize tuition centre company overseeing its build up and crafting its strategic direction. 

Under his tutorage, his students have improved in their grades and matured in thinking. He uses a broad range and often novel ways to deliver Geographical or Historical knowledge to his students.

A Certified Apple Teacher. He uses a full plethora of Apple devices to conduct his lessons ensuring that students will have lively lessons and benefit from the latest educational technology available.
